The Fragility Fracture Network was created in Europe in 2011 to address the growing burden of fragility fracture patients to our health care system and societies.
In 2012 the FFN hosted the first international congress addressing the full pathway of care for fragility fracture patients. Annual congresses have been held since that time disseminating research and clinical practice improvements across pillars of care that include perioperative care, surgical treatment, rehabilitation, secondary prevention, and policy change. These annual events provide a benchmark for our global growth and are a major motivational stimulus to our activists.
Although created in Europe, FFN has grown to be a truly global network with leadership coming from all regions and a move to provide the Congress in the Americas in 2021 (Canada) and in Asia Pacific (Australia) in 2022.
The congress provides a unique platform for interaction with leading Orthopaedic Surgeons, Rheumatologists, Anaesthesiologists, Radiologists, Geriatricians, Rehabilitation Experts, Osteoporosis Experts, Primary Care Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals from all over the world.
